WA Service Disruptions – Cyclone Narelle

  • Categories:

Severe weather conditions caused by Tropical Cyclone Narelle continue to disrupt freight operations across Western Australia.

The impacted corridor extends from Port Hedland through to Geraldton, affecting key regional locations including Karratha, Dampier, Pannawonica, Nanutarra, Lyndon, Minilya, Carnarvon, Kalbarri, Northampton and Dongara.

Road closures both north and south of Carnarvon are currently preventing access through the region. As a result, freight to Coral Bay, Exmouth, Shark Bay and Denham is on hold until access is restored. There is no confirmed timeline at this stage.

These conditions are impacting linehaul movements, deliveries and collections across affected areas.

CouriersPlease is working closely with transport partners and local teams to manage freight movements where it is safe to do so.

Operations will progressively resume as conditions improve and key routes reopen.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
