If nobody is home, CouriersPlease parcels are delivered with Authority to Leave (ATL), meaning they’ll be left in safe, secure place if nobody is home. But for added convenience, receivers have the option to choose from a range of other Delivery Choices, giving them control over how and when their parcel arrives. 

To give your customers Delivery Choices, you must provide their email and mobile number when booking. Once a parcel is on its way, we’ll send the receiver a notification with a secure link where they can choose how they’d like their delivery handled.

The options available are: 

• Signature required: Request the driver obtain a signature on delivery. If no one is home the parcel will be sent to a nearby Collection Point or returned to the depot. 

• Collect nearby: Redirect to a local collection point with extended opening hours. 

• Leave with a neighbour: Nominate an address within three houses either side. 

• Change the address: Redirect to a different location altogether. 

• Choose another day: Reschedule within three days of the original delivery date.
