When you ship with CouriersPlease we offer Delivery Choices as part of our standard "Signature Required" service to allow receivers more control over when and how they receive a delivery. If your customer is at work during the day, they might choose to have their package delivered to their next-door neighbor. If they don't want to wait at home for delivery, they can choose to have the parcel left in a safe place with just a few clicks. 

1. When an order is made and Signature Required is requested a notification will be sent to the recipient via email outlining our five Delivery Choices. A receiver can make a selection, as long as the delivery has not yet left our depot:

   • Authority to Leave in a Safe Place - this option gives authority for our courier to leave the delivery unattended in a safe place. Our couriers will still attempt to get a signature, and will always leave it in a discreet location out of the weather. Parcels are not left in an unsafe location. 

   • Deliver to a Collection Point - this option redirects delivery to a convenient location of the recipients choosing for collection within 7 days. See here for more information about our collection point network.

   • Deliver to a neighbor - recipients can choose to deliver to a trusted address within three homes either-side.

   • Deliver to a new address - allows delivery to a new address altogether.

   • Reschedule for a different day - allows the receiver to postpone deliver to a date within three days of the estimated time of delivery.

2. The recipient can confirm an option and our couriers will carry out delivery according to the new instruction, or they can simply disregard the email if they want. to continue with delivery as expected.
